Graeme Wigg

Graeme Wigg (BEd '69, BA '70)

Graeme Wigg has devoted his life to education both in southern Alberta and his native Australia. Wigg came to Lethbridge in 1967 and began teaching at Winston Churchill High School (WCHS). While there, he obtained his BEd and BA from the U of L, and later received his MEd from the University of Victoria. He was a distinguished teacher and principal at WCHS and assistant superintendent for School District 51 before becoming head master at Radford College in Canberra, Australia. Graeme recently retired from Radford and the trustees honoured him by naming the new $5 million gymnasium the Wigg Building. Graeme's inspiring leadership will always be respected in both southern Alberta and Australia.
