Alexander Gordon McKay

Alexander McKay (BASc (BA) '74)

After graduating from the University of Lethbridge, Alexander Gordon McKay obtained a bachelor of law degree from the University of Alberta in 1978. Currently, Alexander McKay is a highly respected senior litigation partner at the local law firm North & Company LLP. He has served his profession as president of the Lethbridge Bar Association, chair of the regional committee of the Legal Aid Society of Alberta and board member of the Lethbridge Legal Guidance Services – a pro bono law clinic.

Alexander McKay also devotes considerable time to numerous community organizations. He has served as vice-president of the Rehabilitation Society of Southwestern Alberta and president of both the Lethbridge Community Foundation and Lethbridge Country Club.
