We have a portable videophone available for use that also runs on IP-based technology. It can connect to one remote site, and has limited capability. It works primarily as a desktop solution for a single person. It is ideal for use in an office. Also available is a portable videoconferencing phone that is intended for single person to use anywhere on campus. With this device a person can participate in a meeting from their office at the U of L with several other people at a remote site.
