University mourns passing of former employee Mather

The University of Lethbridge community offers its most sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the late D. Lynn Mather, a former employee of the University of Lethbridge and spouse of faculty member Dr. Jennifer Mather (psychology).

He passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Dec. 1 at the age of 70, and after a lengthy illness.

Lynn worked at the U of L as a sessional instructor and academic assistant in Native American Studies and the Faculty of Management from 1989 to 1998.

He was married to Jennifer in June, 1964. He is survived by her and son David (Ariane) and granddaughter Charlotte of Vancouver, as well as daughter Janet (Neal Bennet) and grandson Nicky, also of Vancouver.

The details of a memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family extends thanks to the staff of Edith Cavell Care Centre for three years of loving care.
