U of L jumps in Research Infosource ranking

The University of Lethbridge continues to bolster its presence among the country’s elite research universities, moving up one spot in both the undergraduate and overall categories of Research Infosource’s annual Research Universities of the Year rankings list.

The U of L jumped from fifth to fourth in the country in the 2015 Undergraduate classification as the top school from 2014, Ryerson University, fell out of the top five.

In the overall rankings list, the University of Lethbridge jumped a spot to place 35th in the country.

“The research activities taking place here and our consistent performance in these rankings over the years continue to identify the U of L as one of the top research universities in the country,” says University of Lethbridge Vice-President (Research) Dr. Erasmus Okine. “I commend our faculty for the work they are doing in the labs and in the field, for providing our students, both graduate and undergraduate, the opportunity to participate in these research endeavours and for upholding a standard of teaching excellence. They are truly providing a unique student experience.”

The University has consistently performed among the top five undergraduate universities in recent Research Infosource rankings lists and was named the 2012 Research University of the Year (Undergraduate).
