Multi-Disciplinary Research Conference, Saturday

The University of Lethbridge's Graduate Students' Association (GSA) is holding its 3rd Annual Multi-Disciplinary Research Conference on Saturday, inviting graduate, undergraduate and post-doctoral students to participate.

The event brings together graduate students from across campus and is an opportunity for students to add scholarly activity to their CV while also enjoying valuable networking opportunities. Presentations at the conference include: thesis data, relevant theories, research or thesis proposals, independent or applied studies, past conference papers or posters, artwork or video work.

The conference opens at 9 a.m. Saturday morning with Session One: Physics, Biochemistry and Computer Science. Six presentations make up the first session, followed by a short break. Session Two: Biology and Kinesiology includes another five presentations in advance of the lunch break. It kicks off at 10:45 a.m.

The afternoon schedule consists of Session Three: Political Science, Sociology and Psychology, beginning at 1 p.m. The day then concludes with the 2:45 p.m. Session Four: Psychology and Neuroscience. A final poster session, from 5-6 p.m. in Galileo's Gallery, caps the conference.

All sessions are being held in PE264 and are open to everyone to attend.
