Hot water shutdown to affect campus

A large portion of the University of Lethbridge campus will be without hot water Thursday, Aug. 27 as maintenance will be performed on the heating system in the central plant.

Domestic hot water will not be available from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the following buildings: University Hall, University Centre for the Arts, Turcotte Hall, Library, 1st Choice Savings Centre and the Students' Union. This shutdown will only affect the hot water system. Cold water will not be affected.

The shutdown is necessary to replace failed check valves on the heating main.
