Donations sought for First Day at School program

Beginning a new school year can be daunting for any child but to do so without the necessary supplies makes the experience all the more difficult.

To that end, the Faculty of Management is participating in the Interfaith Food Bank's Eighth Annual First Day at School program. The program provides backpacks filled with school supplies to students from low-income families.

Both cash donations and school supply donations can be made to this program. Those interested in participating in this program can bring cash and school supply donations to the Faculty of Management reception office (E-566) between 9:30 a.m. and noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. through Thursday, Sept. 10.

Those interested in making a cash donation can make cheques payable to the Interfaith Food Bank. Tax receipts for cash donations are available.

Tax receipts for donations of supplies are also available. In order to do this you need to provide your cash register receipt with your name and mailing address.
