Keynote Speaker for Spark 2018
This year we are honoured to have 2003 National Aboriginal Achievement Award for Education winner and 2004 University of Lethbridge Honorary Degree Recipient Dr. Leroy Little Bear.
Spark is a day and a half teaching focused event. You will have the opportunity to attend concurrent sessions that focus on new engagement strategies, assessment strategies as well as teaching research. Engage with peers from a wide variety of disciplines. Discuss your classroom experiences, gather feedback, learn new ideas and much more.
The symposium will begin in Markin Hall Atrium, on the afternoon of April 30th with the keynote address. The keynote will be followed by some concurrent sessions and a wine and cheese. May 1st will be a full day of concurrent sessions, that will include lunch.

Open Access Learning Resource Fund
The Teaching Centre invites all U of L faculty members/departments to apply for financial support of up to $5000 for projects to migrate current commercial homework systems or resources to in-house solutions that are free for the students, i.e. open access.
This is a continuous call for applications.
