The Associate Vice President (Human Resources) chairs the President's Task Force on the intial steps toward a People Plan.

December, 2012 Progress Update:

On behalf of the People Plan Initial Steps Task Force, we are pleased to provide this update on our progress. The purpose of this task force was not to develop the People Plan itself, but rather to make recommendations to the President on whether or not a People Plan should be developed and if so, how best to go about it.

We have been meeting since September and we are unanimous in our support for the concept of developing this strategic plan. Together with the Academic, Business, and Research plans, a People Plan would provide a strong foundation for the University Strategic Plan.
