Gym Closure - for floor refinishing

1st Choice Savings Centre for Sport & Wellness – Main Gymnasium & Indoor Track Closure

All 3 gymnasiums will be closed from June 10 to July 14 inclusive, with periodic closures of the track.  This closure will involve the refinishing of the hardwood floors which will accommodate basketball line rule changes required for the upcoming CIS basketball season.  There will be no changes to badminton and volleyball lines.

This closure will also include repairs to the synthetic floor surface to reinforce this area to handle the activities required in this space.  There should be no change in the look of the floor as the lines and surface will use the current color schemes.

During this gymnasium closure, the indoor track will close intermittently as renovation activities will affect the air quality on the track as well.  The track is closed from June 10 to June 23. Future closure dates, if necessary, will be posted.
