Floor Hockey


  • Each game will consist of two twenty (20) minute halves - running time
  • Three (3) minute intermission between each half.

Regular Season

  • All regular season games may end in a tie
  • Team that scodres the most goals wins
  • A ten-minute (10) default rule will be enforced. Therefore, each game must start by ten minutes past the hour

Play Off Games

  • For play off games only, the clock will be stop-timed for the final two (2) minutes of the SECOND period if the goal difference is two (2) goals or less
  • In the event of a tie, after regulation time during a play off game, a shoot-out will occur
  • Four (4) members from each team
    • Co-ed Rule – must have a minimum of one (1) female/male shoot) will alternate taking breakaway shots, originating at center court
    • If a team does not have one (1) player of the opposite sex, that team is only permitted three (3) shots – instead of four (4)
    • shooter must make forward progress toward the goaltender and stay within the parallel area of the crease lines
  • If games remains tied, each team will alternate shots until one team prevails
    • A different player must take each shot
    • All eligible players must take a shot before any player can take a second shot


  • Must use sticks provided.
  • DO NOT bend the blades of the sticks excessively as this weakens the plastic and eventually causes the blade to crack
    • Curve blade may not exceed 1 inch
    • three (3) minute minor penalty if blade cracks and $20.00 fine levied
  • Goalie may use any standard goaltender equipment; must use the pads provided. (Exceptions can be made at the discretion of the supervisor)
  • Players may use any standard protective equipment they desire
