Our Philosophy

Well-rounded artists, whether in art, theatre, music or new media, need a broad education in addition to technical skills; therefore, students are provided with a strong theoretical background and an understanding of the history of their discipline. In addition, they have the opportunity to expand their horizons through courses outside the fine arts. This added dimension provides prepares graduates to forge their own creative identity.

What We Offer

The Faculty provides a supportive, creative learning environment that promotes artistic expression and enhances technical development through hands-on experiences and academic courses. Professors are nationally and internationally recognized artists, performers, researchers and scholars - students learn from leaders in their fields. Students have the opportunity to become part of a vibrant creative community – on campus and in the community.

Beyond the Classroom

Students develop their creative skills and abilities through participation in a wide array of exhibitions, concerts, presentations and theatre productions.
