Our Programs

The Faculty of Education offers a five-year combined degrees program and a four-semester after degree B.Ed. program, with 11 majors available.

Our Philosophy

What We Offer

UofL's Bachelor of Education program provides the most extensive school-based, practical teaching experience in Alberta. Students who graduate with combined degrees earn a Bachelor of Education degree combined with a degree in a major subject area and training to teach from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

The Faculty also offers Master of Education and Master of Counselling degrees (see Graduate Programs) and a Diploma in Education.
