Scholarships and Awards
The University of Lethbridge offers a wide range of scholarships
and bursaries which serve to recognize the achievements of students who
pursue their university education at the UofL and can be used to defray
your education costs. These awards are granted based primarily on academic
proficiency. Other criteria (e.g. financial need, leadership potential,
community involvement, artistic ability) may also be considered. Only
academic records from the last five years will be considered for measurement
of academic achievement.
You are eligible for awards if you are:
| 1) | a student entering the University from high school; or | ||
| 2) | a student entering the University from another post-secondary institution; or | ||
| 3) | a student continuing studies at the UofL; or | ||
| 4) | an athlete participating on an intercollegiate team. | ||
| Grade 11 Merit Awards | ||||
| High school applicant awards | ||||
| Transfer application awards | ||||
| Undergraduate awards | ||||
| Graduate awards | ||||
| Athletic awards | ||||
While not all awards require you to apply, an application is strongly recommended if you feel that you may qualify for scholarships.
There are also many available external awards. While these awards are not sponsored by the UofL, they can certainly assist in financing your post-secondary education.
You can access a complete list of the UofL administered awards and
the policies and procedures guiding the Awards Program by referring
to the Awards and Scholarships section of the University of Lethbridge Calendar.
