Cost of Attending the UofL

To a large extent the amount it costs to attend the UofL will depend on your lifestyle. Will you be living at home, in residence, or in an apartment? Do you drive a car, or do you rely on public transportation? Will you be buying a lot of new clothes, eating out, or attending community events? Do you like to get away on weekends? All of these factors will contribute to your overall expenses.

Your two major areas of expense will be educational costs and living expenses. Listed below is a sample budget (for a single student) to estimate your combined educational and living expenses for eight months of study (in Canadian funds). The educational costs are calculated using Undergraduate fee figures for the year ranging from September 2011 to April 2012. The off-campus living costs are calculated using the Canada Student Loans Program budget guidelines for the 2011/2012 academic year. For a detailed description of the tuition and fees at the University of Lethbridge please refer to the Calendar.
