Alberta's Completion Incentive Grant is here!

You are eligible for the Completion Incentive Grant if you received full-time funding through Student Aid Alberta for a program of study ending after August 1, 2012.

If you are in your final year of study and currently receiving funding through Student Aid Alberta, you are automatically considered for the Completion Incentive Grant. You can find out whether you’ll automatically receive the grant by visiting Student Aid Alberta Online Services.

You will need to apply for the Completion Incentive Grant if:

  • You did not indicate on your loan application that this was your final year of study
  • You are in your final year of study and are NOT receiving funding from Student Aid Alberta

Audits

The government regularly conduct audits of applications for Student Aid Alberta to ensure we are accountable to all Albertans. In some circumstances applications may be subject to an investigation. It is a good idea to keep all of your documentation related to your costs and resources.
