On Campus Recruitment (OCR)

On-Campus Recruitment, or OCR, is the process through which employers recruit UofL students and alumni well in advance of the position start date. This generally denotes situations where CES provides additional services to employers beyond simply posting job orders.

CES facilitates OCR for employers by:

• posting job orders and collecting resumés and applications
• setting up interview schedules and arranging interview rooms
• distributing material across campus and organizing information sessions

OCR begins in September and is ongoing throughout the year. Interviews on campus generally begin in October and can include recruitment for both full-time and summer jobs. Spring recruitment has a greater focus on hiring for summer jobs and government programs. During the summer months, OCR can include contacting students/alumni regarding potential positions.
