International Admission Requirements - Mexico

Applications are welcome from prospective students:

  • completing Preparatoria/Ciclo Secundario;
  • transferring with college or university course credits;
  • with college diplomas; and
  • with previous university degrees.
Preparatoria/Ciclo Secundario admission Applicants are admissible who present the Bachillerato en Ciencias or Humanidades including Year 3-4 English with a minimum of 7/10 to 8/10.
Transfer admission Transfer applicants who present either of the following are admissible:
  • Acceptable Bachillerato qualifications (see above) and three or more transferable university courses with an average of 6/10 or higher; or
  • Eight or more transferable university courses with an average of 6/10 or higher.
Transfer applicants presenting three- and four-year university degrees from recognized universities with a minimum average of 6/10 will be considered for admission to second Bachelor degree programs.
International Baccalaureate qualifications Applicants presenting International Baccalaureate diplomas are eligible for general admission to the University.
English Language Proficiency Not applicable for students whose first language is English.
Canada Immigration Allow at least 40 days for Canada Immigration to process your application for a student visa.

Be prepared to present evidence of adequate funding: Canada Immigration will want to see that you have the equivalent of at least C$10,000 (excluding tuition costs) to cover the costs of your first year of study in Canada.
