Applications are welcome from applicants:
| High School admission |
High school applicants who present the Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent with an overall average of 60% (First Division Pass) or better, including English and three or more distinct academic subjects are admissible. Considered equivalent: |
| Transfer admission | Transfer applicants who present either of the following are admissible:
Transfer applicants presenting two- or three-year college diplomas with First Division (60%) or higher standing will also be considered for admission. (See Post-Diploma programs) Transfer applicants with four-year degrees from recognized universities and First Division standing (60%) will be considered for admission to graduate programs. |
| International Baccalaureate qualifications | Applicants presenting International Baccalaureate diplomas are eligible for general admission to the University. |
| English Language Proficiency |
All students whose first language is not English must provide proof of English Language Proficiency (ELP) taken within the last two years, such as:
***Conjoint admission is available to students who meet the academic requirements but have not achieved proof of ELP. Students must have skills beyond a beginner level of English. |
| Canada Immigration | Allow at least 30 days for Canada Immigration to process your application for a student visa. Be prepared to present evidence of adequate funding: Canada Immigration will want to see that you have the equivalent of at least C$10,000 (excluding tuition costs) to cover the costs of your first year of study in Canada. |
