  • World Issues 120
  • One 121 or 122-level Fine Arts course 2
  • Any 121- or 122-level language 1
Fifth course:
  • A fifth distinct course which:
    • Can be academic or non-academic
    • Must be at the 120, 121, or 122 level
    • Must be worth at least one credit

1 Only one course in a particular language will be used for admission purposes, e.g., in Alberta, only one of French Language Arts 30-1 or French as a Second Language 30-3Y will be used. Grades from 20-level language, or language and culture courses in six, nine, or 12-year streams may be used for admission purposes in place of 30-level languages, e.g., German Language and Culture 20-6Y.

2 Only one Fine Arts course may be used as an academic course in the admission average. Another distinct Fine Arts course may be used as the fifth course. For example, Art 30 could be used as one of the academic courses and General Music 30 could be used as the fifth course.
