Academic Programs
One of the hallmarks of the liberal education offered by the University of Lethbridge is the extensive interaction students can have with professors. Average class size is significantly lower than at larger institutions; students, even in first year, are taught by professors as opposed to graduate students; and our faculty frequently involve undergraduate students in their research efforts. Another hallmark is the flexibility of the program - students are encouraged to take a wide variety of courses so that they can be exposed to a variety of different ideas and options, and combined degrees are common.
