A list of corrections and post-publication updates to the print edition of the 2009/2010 Calendar, which have been changed in the online edition, will be posted at this location. Check back regularly to stay informed of changes.

English Language Proficiency (ELP) Requirement

Only TOEFL scores taken within the last two years can be used to meet the English Language Proficiency requirement. TOEFL CBT (computer-based testing) has not been offered since September 2006, so TOEFL CBT can no longer be used to meet the ELP requirement.

Residence Requirements Table

B.F.A. (Art), B.F.A. (Dramatic Arts), B.F.A. (Multidisciplinary), B.F.A. (New Media), and B.Mus. as the second degree.

  • The minimum number of courses in the second degree program is 20.
  • The residence requirement is 20 courses, taken after admission to the second degree program.

The B.N. After an Approved Degree is a 23-month continuous program. It was originally listed as a 24-month continuous program.

The accelerated NESA sequencing spans consecutive Fall, Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. The sequencing was originally listed as spanning Fall, Spring, Summer, and Spring semesters.

Faculty of Management Campuses

Note: Commencing Fall 2009, a pilot project will allow pre-Management applicants to be assigned to the Calgary or Edmonton campuses. Eligibility extends to those applicants who qualify under non-matriculated adult admission, who are transferring credits from another post-secondary institution, who have completed high school more than three years ago, or who have completed high school and are at least 21 years of age. (Contact the campus offices for more information).

Students admitted on this basis who do not later qualify for admission to the B.Mgt. program would have to transfer to the Lethbridge campus to complete any other University of Lethbridge program for which they are qualified for admission.
