Grant writing tips

The researcher develops the project concept and initiates the grant process and/or industry collaboration.  Research Services works with the researcher to ensure that all necessary UofL processes are in place and, in some cases, ensures the application is submitted to the agency on time.  Where time permits, Research Services provides a substantive review of draft applications as "the non-expert" for compliance with the sponsor's requirements, eligibility and evaluation criteria.

To aid in proposal preparation, Research Services hosts grant writing workshops and facilitates additional internal peer review.
