Terms of Reference:

1. To recommend policy and procedures to the Vice President, Research for the disbursement of the SSHRC Institutional Grant which is made available to the University to administer in ways that stimulate and support social science and humanities research activities.
2. To review Internal SSHRC Grant, Internal Artistic/Creative Research Grant and Internal Research Dissemination Grant applications and award SSHRC funds.

Membership:

Membership Terms:
To be appointed by Dean/Director. Terms will be for two years and reappointment is acceptable. Terms for Committee members will overlap to ensure continuity. 

Misc. Information:
The Committee will be advised of the amount of monies available for distribution each competition and the guidelines proposed for their use.
