OASIS

The University of Lethbridge, in collaboration with Hydrologics Inc. and the University of Texas at Austin, have joined together to conduct a pilot project to improve integrated and collaborative water management decision-making in the South Saskatchewan River Basin (SSRB).

The foundation of the project is an emulation of the SSRB using the OASIS software developed by Hydrologics combined with SSRB stakeholder narratives captured by researchers at the University of Texas at Austin.

The OASIS software as it relates to the SSRB is freely available to all stakeholders via the University's web site.

Disclaimer from Hydrologics and Alberta Environment

You are free to use the software for your investigations on the overall South Saskatchewan Basin and/or large tributaries.
If you would like to install the software on your own computer, use it for another basin, or to do detailed modeling of an irrigation district (even if that is done on the server), you must obtain a license from Hydrologics.
Hydrologics' contact information is available on its web site: www.hydrologics.net
