ORIS welcomes Mary Butterfield, Research Officer (SSHRC)

The Offices of the Vice-President Research and Research and Innovation Services welcomes Mary Butterfield as our new Research Officer for the social sciences, humanities, fine arts, education and management.  Mary is a PhD candidate in Philosophy (Vanderbilt), with strong connections to the UofL She has excellent skills of grantsmanship, and community engagement. Her research specialization is multiculturalism, democracy, indigenous self-determination, and First Nations Band governance, and she has coursework training in feminist theory, critical race theory and international law.
