Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis:

The CIHR Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (CIHR-IMHA) will provide funding for meritorious applications that are determined to be relevant to one or more areas of its mandate. CIHR-IMHA’s mandate is to support ethical and impactful research to enhance active living, mobility and oral health, and to address the wide range of conditions related to bones, joints, muscles, connective tissue, skin and teeth. Grant Amount: 
•The total amount available for this funding opportunity is $150,000, enough to fund approximately 30 awards. This amount may increase if additional funding partners participate. The maximum stipend amount per award is $5,000 for four months. •An additional 25 percent (at minimum) above the stipend contribution (i.e. $1,250 or more) must be secured from other sources by the supervisor(s), such as university funds, CIHR and/or NSERC grants, or any other research funds.
