The University of Lethbridge's Centre for Oral History and Tradition (COHT) in partnership with the Galt Museum & Archives and Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre (Medicine Hat) is offering a practical, hands-on workshop which will take place as follows:

Cost: $70/person; $35/person for seniors and students. This workshop will focus on analyzing oral history interviews, ethical conduct in human subject research, First Nations oral history and funding community projects. The intermediate workshop builds upon the beginner community oral history workshop but individuals who did not attend the beginner workshop are still welcome. Registration includes a full day of lectures, lunch & break refreshments, a workshop package including a booklet with guiding principles & helpful instructional information.
Workshop leaders are university scholars and project managers with professional and scholarly experience in oral history-based research.
