Online Databases

The following datbases are licensed by the University of Lethbridge Library for the use of members of the University of Lethbridge community:

  • Community of Scholars Find out who shares your research interests both within and outside your discipline. Keyword searches provide access to the literature of a specific area of study as well as exposure to the community currently studying the topic. Scholar profiles include contact information, educational background, research interests, and a verified publication list. You can also set up your own profile within the database.
  • COS Funding Opportunities Provides information about grants, fellowships, prizes and other funding opportunities from public and private sector sponsors around the world. Researchers and scholars in all disciplines can find relevant information to help them secure funding for their work, including information about deadlines, award amounts, eligibility criteria and sponsor contact information.
  • PapersInvited Designed specifically for researchers and graduate students, this database is a multidisciplinary alerting service for upcoming conferences worldwide, as well as calls for papers for special issues of scholarly journals.
