Role in Personal Security

The University Counselling services (Student Counselling Services and the Family Assistance Program (EFAP) may provide claimants and potential claimants under this policy with copies of the policy, and with advice regarding which Consultant or Appropriate Supervisor might be approached with a request for advice or intervention.

An employee of the University Counselling services may not participate in any procedure under this policy, or in any subsequent action resulting from a complaint under this policy except in a personal capacity as a complainant, respondent, or member of the President's Advisory Committee. Nothing in this part prevents an individual from seeking individual counselling from Counselling Services.
