‘I’m not moving’: Resettling the new urban sporting frontier

Join Dr. Jay Scherer for his keynote public lecture examining the influence of urban sport facility mega-development on individuals and communities.

Dr. Scherer is an associate professor in the Department of Physical Education & Recreation at the University of Alberta, with a research focus on the public's intersection with sport, whether that is existing urban communities dealing with the arrival of a sports facility mega-project or TV viewers' rapidly shifting appetite for sports broadcasts.

The University of Lethbridge's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education is pleased to welcome Dr. Scherer as the 2019 Hart Cantelon Visiting Scholar.
