The University of Lethbridge Cancer Awareness Club will host the 6th annual Relay For Life at the 1st Choice Saving Centre for Sport and Wellness located on the University campus.
The CAC Relay For Life is an overnight, non-competitive relay focused on raising funds for the most promising cancer research, support programs for people living with cancer, comprehensive information on prevention initiatives, and advocacy for healthy public policies. This community based, student-led event will see individuals from all around Lethbridge in order to celebrate life, honor cancer survivors and fundraise for a cure.
Teams consisting of students, staff, families and friends can look forward to camping out on the grounds of the track, all night musical entertainment, the camaraderie of inter team games and fantastic prizes. Each team is encouraged to fundraise $2,000. Individuals are encouraged to join an existing team, create their own or sign up as a volunteer.
