Chk-a-dee-dee-dee and other lines of flight: The new soundscape ecology

Soundscape ecology is an emerging field based on a keen awareness of biodiversity protection. It focusses on analyses of sound to assess diverse spaces between life forms in the environment. This talk theorizes soundscapes using sound to represent global space and global environments. It proposes a paradigm to understand better the dynamic and creative ways in which soundscape cartographers use sound to trace the contours of environments.
