Discovery Grant Workshop

This workshop is intended to provide grant information and proposal development support for University of Lethbridge researchers that intend to apply for or renew an NSERC Discovery Grant in Fall 2017.
Please join Gillian Laird (ORIS Grants Facilitator, Natural Sciences) in AH100 as we go over the basics of a Discovery Grant application, with a particular focus on grant writing tips and strategies, building a budget, and NSERC’s evaluation criteria. There will also be the opportunity to see successful examples and hear top tips from University of Lethbridge faculty members who have recently served on Discovery Grant Evaluations Groups.
Light refreshments (coffee, snacks) will be provided to fuel our journey to Discovery Grant excellence.
