Are you interested in creating an oral history project in your community or for your family?

The University of Lethbridge's Centre for Oral History and Tradition (COHT) in partnership with the Galt Museum & Archives and Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre (Medicine Hat) is offering two practical, hands-on workshops which will take place as follows:

Intermediate Workshop
Registration Cost:  $70/person; $35/person for seniors and students
Date:  May 12, 2017
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Location:  Explanade Arts & Heritage Centre (Medicine Hat)

This workshop will focus on analyzing oral history interviews, ethical conduct in human subject research, First Nations oral history and funding community projects.

Registration includes a full day of lectures, lunch & break refreshments, a workshop package including a booklet with guiding principles & helpful instructional information.

Workshop leaders are university scholars and project managers with professional and scholarly experience in oral history-based research.
