Chillin' 4 Charity with the U of L Mangement Student Society and United Way

If you haven’t heard of Chilin’ 4 Charity before, it’s an event you won’t want to miss!  Have you ever jumped into an icy cold pool of water in the middle of October?  Or, perhaps wanted to see one of your prof’s take the plunge?  Well, this year Chillin’ 4 Charity is happening again and will take place on October 22nd, 2018 from 10 am - 2 pm in the U of L Bus Loop!

Traditionally hosted by U of L’s MSS Club, this event raises funds in support of United Way’s Community Fund, a fund that gives grants to many local organizations running programs for the Lethbridge community. Each year, students collect pledges from family, friends, and professor with the promise of jumping into that ice pool.

This year we are hosting the event and have decided to add a twist: we’re challenging ALL students, as well as local companies and organizations, off-campus clubs and groups, and even U of L professors to take the plunge!  Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the United Way, so come on down to the bus loop to check out the festivities, or donate to have your friend or prof jump.

Want to donate to make your best friend jump?  Or maybe your prof? Check out our jumper profiles and donate online.
