ART NOW - Tracey-Mae Chambers Speaks September 20th, 2017 at Noon in the Recital Hall

This event is from the archives of The Notice Board. The event has already taken place and the information contained in this post may no longer be relevant or accurate.

Tracey-Mae Chambers is a Métis artist living in Southern Ontario. Her practice mainly focusses on encaustic as a 3D medium as well as installation work. She tries to work exclusively with natural materials as she feels that respect for the Mother Earth is paramount. Her installation work speaks to our connection to and disconnect from the natural world.

In her talk, Chambers discusses her installation work and pushing the boundaries of a medium’s expected output.

Chambers is the artist-in-residence at Casa for the ATB Financial FNMI Artist Residency and is also giving an artist talk at 7 pm on September 27 in the ATB Financial Community Room at Casa.
