Kate Allen is a Founding Principal at FRANK Architecture and Interiors, and a Registered Architect with the Alberta Association of Architects, the Architectural Association of British Columbia, Saskatchewan Association of Architects and Manitoba Association of Architects.

Kate began her studies in the Visual Arts program at Red Deer College and completed her Bachelor of Fine Art in painting at the University of Calgary. It was here that she completed her Master of Architecture and met her future business partners Kelly Morrison and Kristen Lien. Having previously worked at an architecture firm in Sydney Australia, she brings a perspective to her process that ensures all FRANK projects are detailed to an international standard. Kate has a strong talent for the conceptual process that leads the design realization. She values unique and meaningful design that punctuates the urban landscape.

FRANK Architecture is an ambitious, award-winning, architecture and interior design firm with offices located in downtown Calgary and Banff, Alberta, Canada. Established in 2009; FRANK’s team of registered architects, interior designers and technical experts have successfully completed over 100 projects across Canada. With bold leadership, the firm strives to avoid trends, clichés, and spectacle, and instead focus on creating spaces that are honest to the design narrative while meeting the practical needs of the client. FRANK’s portfolio includes large scale projects that enhance the urban landscape, residential design that bring aesthetics and function together to enhance everyday life, and hospitality projects that provide authentic experiences that have become landmarks in their cities.
