The Faculty of Health Sciences 2017 Una Ridley Lecture presents Dr. Charlotte Loppie - Community/University Engagement: Taking Action on Indigenous Determinants of Health. This year's Lecture takes place Monday, November 20, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the SU Ballrooms. Refreshments will be provided.

Dr. Loppie is a Professor in the School of Public Health & Social Policy, Faculty of Human & Social Development, University of Victoria - and the Director of the Centre for Indigenous Research and Community-Leg Engagement (CIRCLE). She collaborates on Indigenous-focused initiatives aimed at research capacity development, mentorship and training; catalyzing/developing research relationships; undertaking research projects; and sharing knowledge with diverse communities and organizations at the local, regional, national, and international levels.
