For Pre-Education and Current Education Students:
Have you wanted to complete your final teaching practicum in an international setting? Have you wanted to find out more information about this exciting option? Do you have a keen interest in teaching abroad as a possibility in the future?
The PS III International Club is here to help answer those questions and more from the students' perspective. There is much to do in preparation for this rewarding experience. The earlier you start, the more prepared you will be.
About PS III International Club (PS3IC)
PS3IC was formed in December 2006 by international practicum students for the purpose of creating a student-led organization to assist future EDUC4573i students. PS3IC focuses on three specific areas: Academics (what a 4573i student needs to do academically before and during the practicum), External (all of the non-academic components such as travel details, accommodations, landing a placement), and Finance (financial obligations of the journey and where to find financial assistance).
Membership is free and open to anyone so long as they are a member-in-good-standing of the Alberta Teachers' Association Student Local No. 4 (EUS) for the current year.
