Are you a Retail Employee? Mystery Shopper Program Research

* Are you currently employed in a retail job?
* Does your job use the mystery shopper program?
* Would you be interested in talking about the mystery shopper program?

I am a M.A. student in sociology at the University of Lethbridge and I want to hear about your experiences, as an employee, with the mystery shopper program in your workplace.

I'm interested in exploring how customer service is ideally defined by a business and whether or not the mystery shopper program enables or hinders that definition for frontline employees such as cashiers, sales associates, or CSR's.

Much research has explored how management controls and/or trains employees, or how customers perceive customer service, but the cornerstone of the service job is often neglected - the employee.

If you are interested in helping me understand how you, as an employee, understand and experience the mystery shopper program in your workplace, I want to hear from you.

This will involve a 1 to 2 hour meeting. Your participation will be kept strictly confidential and you will remain completely anonymous in my research report; no information will be given to your employer. Refreshments will be provided.

Please Note: You must be 18 years or older to participate in this research
