Leave YOUR Footprint on Parliament Hill!

Hello Students!

Your Students’ Union advocates the government (both federal and provincial) on your behalf on post-secondary issues. Help our federal lobby group, the Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA), leave YOUR footprint on Parliament Hill!

We will be collecting personalized “footprints,” asking you to answer the question: “What is the biggest challenge on your path to achieving your goals through post-secondary education?” These personalized “footprints” will be collected from all member CASA schools and taken to Parliament Hill for a media stunt during the CASA Lobby Conference 2006, where a physical path of these “footprints” will be created. This is to represent a student’s path toward post-secondary education, and the obstacles he faces.

To complement our campaign on Parliament Hill, the Students’ Union is hosting an obstacle course, to simulate the obstacles students face on their path to attaining a post-secondary education.

Come out and give it a try! The student with the fastest time wins a (Canadian) course of free tuition! While you are there, leave YOUR footprint on Parliament Hill by personalizing a “footprint.” Come out and learn what YOU can do to improve post-secondary education in our federal government.
