Alberta Press Council Examines Government Control over Access to Information, September 28
The Alberta Press Council will host its first Fall Forum at the U of L on September 28 beginning at 7:00 .m. in room PE250.
Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.
The topic, “What are they Hiding?” examines the government’s growing control over access to information. Speakers include David Gollub, vice-president, public affairs for the Canadian Newspaper Association, and Frank Work, Alberta’s Privacy Commissioner. The event is presented by the Alberta Pres Council, the University of Lethbridge, and the Lethbridge Herald.
