ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT I
(PROJECT POSITION)
The University of Lethbridge Faculty of Fine Arts requires the services of a qualified Administrative Support I. This is a project position (approximately mid-August 2013 to mid-May 2014) with the possibility of renewal.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the various visitors (performers, lecturers, designers, etc.) to the Departments of Art, Music, New Media, and Theatre & Dramatic Arts. The Administrative Support I acts as liaison between the various Visitor Committees and visitors. Responsibilities include organizing the necessary arrangements for visiting artists, such as scheduling, booking accommodations, arranging fee payments, and travel expense reimbursements. Other duties as assigned.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,296.00 - $3,645.00 per month.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years post-secondary education and at least two years prior work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in Fine Arts or a post-secondary environment would be considered an asset. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, capable of multi-tasking and working under pressure within strict deadlines. A proficient skill level with computers (including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web page maintenance) is essential. The successful candidate must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, other employees, and the public, and must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
