MANAGEMENT CO-OP FIELD ADVISOR (ADMINISTRATIVE PROGRAM ASSISTANT II)
(PROJECT POSITION)
The Faculty of Management at the University of Lethbridge is seeking a talented and innovative individual for the position of Management Co-operative Field Advisor to begin work as soon as possible. This project position will be for two years with possibility of extension and it is located on the Calgary campus.
Under the supervision of the Director of Student Professional Development / External Relations this position provides support to students on the Calgary and Edmonton campuses with respect to co-op job search (cover letter, resume and interview training) and work term support and support for Professional Development Program events on the Calgary and Edmonton campuses. This position will also be responsible for working with the Director of Student Professional Development / External Relations to raise the profile of the co-op program and expand the number and breadth of opportunities available to students in the program. The Management Co-op Field Advisor will regularly perform visits to co-op work term sites to meet with the student and employer to ensure the overall success of the experience for both parties. This will require the successful candidate to develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and resolve work related issues that may occur. Some travel (largely within Alberta) will be a requirement of the position.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $4,239.00 - $4,738.50 per month.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have an Undergraduate degree in a relevant field and experience in the area of career development. Excellent communication, networking, analytical and organizational skills are essential. In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent presentation skills and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. All applicants must have a valid Canadian driver's license and a personal vehicle for use within the city (mileage reimbursed).
