The University of Lethbridge Faculty of Fine Arts requires the services of a qualified Administrative Support II in a continuing position to commence work on January 1, 2013. We are seeking an individual with exceptional communication, customer service and organizational skills who will contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of Fine Arts programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for duties which are focused on direct support to the Department Chairs of Music and New Media. The incumbent will work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and will receive and direct inquiries from students and the public as well as supporting students in the two Departments; prepare formal departmental correspondence; organize meeting agendas and record minutes; maintain current departmental records and other duties as assigned by the Dean, Associate Dean, and/or Chairs.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,313.00 to $3,686.50 per month.
The successful candidate must have a two-year College Diploma and a minimum two years work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office Suite, database and e-mail) along with excellent organizational, record-keeping, and filing skills are essential, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Adobe software suite (including Photoshop and In Design) would be an asset.
The ability to work independently within a team structure while maintaining effective working relationships with faculty and students is required.
