PROGRAMMER ANALYST I
(PROJECT POSITION)
The University’s Information Technology Department is seeking application for the position of Web Programmer Analyst I to commence work as soon as possible. This is a project position ending on approximately March 31, 2013.
Reporting to the Manager, IT/Web the incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintain dynamic websites and applications that comprise the University’s group of web properties. As a pre-requisite the successful candidate will primary be responsible for implementing Drupal systems along with other duties as required. In this position, the candidate will too have the opportunity to utilize their design skills where appropriate.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,558.00 - $3,958.50 per month.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science, Management Information Systems or Bachelor of Fine Arts combined with a knowledge of MySQL, along with web-based development tools such as PHP, (X)HTML and CSS. Programming experience with Drupal would be considered an asset.
The successful candidate should be comfortable collaborating as a member of a team on project-based development, as well as working independently with a minimal amount of supervision. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with members of the University community and the general public is essential.
