The Department of Housing Services requires the services of a full-time Administrative Support II to commence work as soon as possible. The Housing office is a fast paced environment that services over 700 on-campus students in Single and Family student facilities.

Reporting to the Chief Housing Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for updating the Student Housing Information System, gathering statistical information on the application process, maintaining the key inventory, organizing student check-in and check-out documentation, creating maintenance work orders, composing and issuing correspondence and other documentation, posting of rent charges, preparing move-out inspection reports and security deposit refunds, and applying payments via Banner financial system. This position is required to liaise with various University departments and is accountable for room offers, assignments, data entry and cash handling. The successful candidate will have a professional attitude and be able to work well with others in a team environment.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,313.00 - $3,686.50 per month.


The successful candidate will have a relevant College Diploma and at least two years of prior related work experience (or an en equivalent combination of education and experience). The incumbent will have demonstrated computer and organization skills plus the ability to exercise independent judgment. Knowledge of the BANNER Financial system, MS Office and webpage content management is an asset. Experience in delivering a high standard of customer service with clients and the public is essential, along with the ability to build effective working relationships with the University community.

The ability to work independently within a team structure while maintaining effective working relationships with staff and students is required.
