The University of Lethbridge Calgary Campus requires a full-time Administrative Support II commencing as soon as possible.

The Administrative Support II reports to the Manager of the Calgary Campus and plays a critical role in managing the administrative functions of a busy satellite campus. Primary responsibilities may include coordinating the ordering of textbooks, booking of classrooms, distribution of classroom keys, processing/disseminating student loan documents and organizing the collection of course outlines. The incumbent will also work alongside the Lethbridge Campus to ensure the smooth functioning of campus technology in coordination with Technology Services. Other responsibilities will include answering telephone calls, photocopying, filing, receiving and receipting payments, preparing and sorting mail, booking video-conferencing equipment, making travel arrangements, coordinating staff meetings, responding to inquiries from students, assisting instructors, and answering questions regarding the University of Lethbridge and the Bachelor of Management program.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,313.00 - $3,686.50 per month.

HOURS OF WORK: Standard office hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.


The successful candidate will have a two-year Office Administration or comparable diploma and a minimum of three years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 2007 is required (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access). Essential skills and attributes include excellent organizational skills; attention to detail and meticulous accuracy; ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment; comfortable dealing with interruptions and overlapping deadlines; ability to work collaboratively with others; and fostering of effective working relationship with members of the University and other outside stakeholders. A positive, friendly demeanor is essential to providing excellence in customer service.
